Asisat Oshoala and Barcelona on the verge of UWCL history

Asisat Oshoala is on the verge on making history again as the first African player to win the UEFA Women’s Champions League following Barcelona’s first-leg semi-final win over FC Bayern Munich.

Oshoala missed the rest of March after featuring in the historic 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid, but picked up an injury that kept her out for almost a month.

The forward was introduced in the 66th minute for Toni Duggan; 3 minutes after Kheira Hamraoui scored what was the only goal of the keenly contested match.

With the first-leg advantage, Barcelona could reach the final for the first time in their history.
