‘Nigeria football is progressing’ – Sanusi

NFF Scribe Dr. Muhammad Sanusi has stated that the game of football in Nigeria in all ramifications is progressing from the management to the tournaments they participate in.

In a chat with brila.net Sanusi said the days of panic over qualification into major tournaments are over.
“One thing I know is common with Nigerian football nowadays, we don’t need to do permutations in qualifiers again”.
“These days the national team’s in all various competitions qualified with a match to go, starting from the world cup qualifiers in Russia last year 2018 and the Afcon qualifiers in Egypt this year, it shows progress. ” Sanusi said.
Meanwhile the qualifiers the senior national teams have recorded and even the age grade competitions are huge starting from the female teams the Falconets, Super Falcons, the Flying Eagles, and the super eagles’ teams.
Right from 2017 till date, No team has missed out on any tournament.
