Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi has sent out a warning to the rest of the world not to underrate the Nigeria women ahead of Friday’s commencement of the biggest women soccer fiesta in France where the Super Falcons alongside 23 other nations will compete for honours.
Okobi speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Super Falcons are set to post a different outing from previous world cup outings where they have struggled and emphasized the quality of preparation the team had as a reason to be hopeful of a better outing and thanked the Nigeria Football Federation in this regard.
“In the world cup people will want to look us like Nigeria again – they don’t have anything to offer but this time around, it’s going to be a different Super Falcons that nobody should look down on.
“We’ve actually had good preparation and I will use this opportunity to thank the Nigeria Football Federation for that opportunity and I believe so much in the team.”
