Coach of Nigeria’s women national team Thomas Dennerby has stated that he is confident in the ability of Nigeria’s Super Falcons to bounce back to winning ways ahead of today’s FIFA women’s world cup second group stage game this afternoon between Nigeria and Korea.
Dennerby speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said the Nigeria women national team have a strong will power to win the game and believes they can simply better their start to the game by consolidating and taking their chances which they failed to do in the early part of the first fixture against Norway.
“We want to win this game and I know that it is the same for South Korea. So definitely it’s going to be a battle but I think despite losing the first game we are still pretty confident because we have a good start last time out so if we can bring that into this game, then we have a very good chance, it’s not the easiest of game but we have to win this game.”
Nigeria will take on Korea this afternoon in her second group stage game at the ongoing FIFA women’s world cup.
