Former Nigeria and Besiktas goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu have stated that the Nigeria Super Eagles underrated their Madagascar opponents during their last group B match which ended in a loss in the ongoing African Cup of Nations.
The former Goalkeeper trainer reiterated that the Rohr-led side needs to show a positive approach and attitude ahead of their next game if they really want to progress further in the competition.
Shorunmu told brila.net in an exclusive interview that the team over underrated the Madagascans by showing poor attitude and urgency in their approach in the game,
However, the Eagles legend has advised that moving forward, they will have to change their approach if they really want to progress.
