Agali reveals reason Nigerian players no longer attract top clubs in Europe

Former Super Eagles forward and present Chief Scout, Victor Agali has revealed the real reason why Super Eagles players no longer attract top European Clubs.

The former Schalke 04 of Germany forward stressed that the lack of sound technical and tactical abilities of Nigerian players is one of the major reasons they don’t get into top teams in Europe.

“No ambitious Top club in Europe is ready to spoonfeed you,” says Agali

“You could be scoring goals and making amazing runs, but if you lack the tactical know-how the Coach expected of you, you won’t be in his plans”

“There are certain tactical abilities expected of you at top clubs, but it’s unfortunate that most Nigerians lack these abilities.

The Super Eagles Scout who is one of the most traveled Nigerian International having played in France, Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, and Greece also said that the foundation from home is faulty.

“Our League in Nigeria is not also helping, with players ages and capacity,” He added

Agali played for Nigeria 12 times scoring 5 goals between 2000 and 2004, including the 2000 Summer Olympics.
