Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has stated that the Nigeria senior national team were left disappointed after the team crashed out of the running for the 2019 Africa cup of nations title following the team’s 2-1 defeat to Algeria at the semi-final stage of the AFCON.
Chukwuweze speaking after the match said the Eagles didn’t really deserve to lose the match but that it was just an unfortunate loss. He added after that the players however as professionals will fight back to ensure they get back to winning ways.
“We’re disappointed because I think we don’t deserve losing. We all know we are disappointed but we are professionals, so we just have to try and get rid of it and fight back.”
