D’Tigress coach Hughley calls for support ahead Afrobasket title defence

Coach of Nigeria’s women national basketball team Otis Hughley has called on Nigerians to pray and support the team in all always possible as they get nearer to defending the FIBA Afrobasket women cup of nations title which they won two year ago in Mali.

Hughley speaking ahead of the Women Afrobasket tournament which starts this weekend in Senegal said the reality of Nigeria been the team to beat is clear enough and as such would not be so easy but that the team will give their all to stand their ground against any opposition and hopefully they emerge victoriously.
“Stay tuned, I think we are going to try to make this better though not easy, we are going to play hard and rock Africa. We need a lot of prayers and a lot of support. Everybody watch and tell a friend.”
