World Wrestling Championship: Oburududu, Adeniyi are medal hopefuls – Coach Purity

Coach of Nigeria’s women wrestling team Akuh Purity says the medals hopefuls Blessing Oburududu and Aminat Adeniyi can follow in the footsteps of bronze medal winner Odunayo Adekuoroye at the ongoing World Wrestling Championship in Kazakhstan.

Purity told www.brila.net  that the Nigerian wrestlers have put up a good showing, and he would love to see them get rewarded with a medal, for their efforts.
The Coach stressed that Oburududu and Aminat Adeniyi are still in the running for medal finish and wants them to at least finish with a bronze medal having lost their respective semi-final fights.
“Oburududu put up a good performance too, but she lost to current number one from the USA, and we will work on that too. Hopefully she delivers too; like Odunayo, and win a Bronze medal.”
