Former Track Queen Mary Onyali has declared her readiness to serve and help change the fortunes of Nigerian Sports, following her appointment as Special Adviser to the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare.
Onyali told www.Cornerstonenewsng.comher appointment will serve all parties, especially Athletes we and assured no effort will be spared to ensure the growth of sports in the country.
She also said her decision to accept the appointment stems from her believe that she was capable of delivering on the goods.
“If I wasn’t confident I wouldn’t take the job,” Onyali stated.
“I have been down this road before, I was the SA Technical to the defunct DG Sports Commission, Gbenga Elegbeleye.
“And I am sure the Minister and I will chart a new course for Nigerian Sports.”
