After the break, Nigerians appeared to be more dogged than the previous and the Fans at the Dakar Arena were reigning applaud for the Superbowl demonstration of coach Otis Hughley Jr.

The gap climbs as the minutes get up to 60-28 in the middle of the third quarter. Promise Amukamara (14 points), Aisha Balarabe (14 points), Jasmine Nwajei (8 points), Atonye Jennifer Nyingifa (6 points) and Victoria Macaulay (8 points) are also at the party against Cameroonians completely overwhelmed by the pace Playground printed by the African Champions.

The experienced Amina Njonkou (16 points) managed to score his pin to limit the breakage without stopping the Nigerian steamroller. At one minute from the end of the third quarter, the score stood at 70-31, or 39 points difference.

The last quarter showed the game in transition following an excellent movement of the ball. The Cameroonian coaching staff can only see the damage because the lionesses have never managed to find a solution to undermine the West African, obviously above the other teams.

The final score will be finally salted, just like at the beginning of the match (106-39), 67 points difference.

Nigeria have therefore secured their ticket to the quarterfinals of the AfroBasket Women 2019. This second authoritative success in as many games confirms its status as a favorite of the competition for a back-to-back history.

Mozambique was the first quarter-finalist and Nigeria will await the quarter-finals of the winners of the eighth-final duel between DRC and Cape Verde. Cameroon for its part will have to go through the eighth-finals. Just like Tunisia last of group B.
