Ekpo: The Eagles still a young team, will get better with time

More reactions continue to trail the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s hard fought 2-1 over Benin Republic in yesterday’s AFCON qualifier, with former international, Friday Ekpo adding that the game was difficult for the Eagles, while calling for support for the team.

Speaking with brila.net, Ekpo also stated that the current team is a young one, and as such, needs to work hard to get better, while also adding that with time and more matches, they will improve.

It’s a young team that needs to work and work well. They have been together for a while so they need to understand each other.

I don’t want Nigerians to put them under pressure but to give them the much needed support.

I strongly believe that the team will get better.
