Super Eagles and Udinese defender William Troost Ekong has downplayed Super Eagles early lead on the AFCON qualifiers Group L table after the first round of matches.
Ekong in an exclusive chat with brila.net, said it is too early to say the Super Eagles are Group Leaders or favourite to win after just a match.
“I think it is too early to say we are on top of the group after playing just a game, and our coach makes it clear enough”.
”On the coming game in Lesotho, the Udinese man said “it is going to be a difficult game, the weather is going to be hostile and we would be playing on synthetic pitch and all those things are not things to be underestimated and I think we have to be prepared for difficult games,” he concluded.
