Afelokhai optimistic despite Enyimba’s failure to win at home

Enyimba goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has expressed strong optimism about the chances of the People’s Elephant qualifying out of the group following Sunday’s 1-1 draw at home to Hassanir Agadir of Morocco which leaves the People’s Elephant now in a tricky situation going to the last group stage fixture away to San Pedro of Ivory Coast.

Afelokhai speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said assuredly that all hope is not lost and that he believes the one point picked in the game will still CE good enough to qualify the team to the quarter final of the CAF Confederation cup.
“The truth is that we are so disappointed with the result but the other side of it I am so happy with my players because they played out their mind, we played very well.
“All hope is not lost. It was such a bad day for us but we still thanked God we picked one point by God grace which will make us qualify to the quarter-final.”
