Former Senegalese forward El Hadji Diouf has branded Nigeria legend Austine Jay Jay Okocha as the most talented footballer out of Africa.
The former Liverpool striker was reacting to the current debate rocking the media on who is the best footballer from Africa to ever play the round leather game.
The two times African Footballer of the Year award winner however named for Chelsea strikers Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba as the two best football players to come out of Africa but believed no one can match the talents labeled of Austin Jay Jay Okocha.
Diouf said the former Nigeria captain is the most talented African footballer ever and never seen anyone like him since he was born.
“The two best players to come out from Africa are Samuel Eto’o and Didier Drogba but the most talented one is Jay-Jay Okocha. He’s the most talented player I’ve ever seen.” He said.
After leaving Liverpool, Diouf teamed up with Okocha at Bolton Wanderers, where they enjoyed great understanding on the pitch.
