Sunday Sodipe, the prime suspect of Ibadan serial ritual killings, who escaped from police custody has been re-arrested.
Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer , Olugbenga Fadeyi, said the suspect ,”is already in police custody”.
Sunday, who confessed that he had killed at least six persons in different communities in Akinyele Local Government Area of the state for ritual purposes, had escaped from Mokola police Station.
There was fear and apprehension in Oyo State ,when the news of his escape went viral in the social media,but his re-arrest has calmed the tension . There was wild Jubilation at the police headquarters and the entire state when the news of his re-arrest was announced in the social media.
