Moses Simon on target as Nantes trash Angers at home

Moses Simon was on target for Nantes as they defeated Angers 3-1 in a French Ligue 1 encounter at the Stade Raymond Kopa on Sunday.

Simon opened scoring for the visitors inside the opening four minutes with a fine finish, after receiving a pass from Ludovic Blas.

 

Imran Louza doubled the lead for Nantes in the 7th minutes from the penalty spot , however they were pegged back towards in the 33rd minutes as Thomas Mangani reduced the deficit for the host.

 

Impressive MosesSimon was replaced by Kader Bamba in the 60th minute, who went on to grab his side’s third goal in the 86th minutes via another assist from Ludovic Blas.

 

The victory is a perfect response from Nantes after enduring difficult week that saw former manager Raymond Dominich lose his job.

 

Nantes FC are 18th on the table with 22 points from 25 matches played.
