Based on Ilorin, Mayowa Oguntoke has dazzled at the grassroot level and also been an outstanding student, which has earned him an educational scholarship in Canada.
The lad who started as a striker in his junior days but was later promoted to a higher level and moved to the defensive midfield position, believes that combining his education and football career will not be a problem.
“My education is not stopping my football career. I’ll join a team or academy over there while study and look for ways to help push my career to Europe or other clubs there”, Mayowa told Sports247.
He also advised young Nigerians like himself who still wish to get opportunities like he did to not relent and wait for their opportunity.
“I just feel they should not give up but keep pushing and once the time comes, they’ll get to where they want to get to just like myself,” he concluded.
