Abdul Sule wants NPFL season canceled

Former Super Eagles center back Abdul Sule has called on the management of the Nigeria Football Federation together with the sports ministry not to allow the NPFL to continue.

Sule, while in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively noted that continuing the league is very dangerous to the health of the players.
“With the pandemic issue on ground now I don’t think we should continue with the league, you can never tell what will come up.”
“We heard that the players will be quarantined and they are going to be playing in one group, the problems is that, how are we sure the players will be safe?
“We can play one match today then tomorrow another player has contracted the virus from somewhere and infects others, so it is a very dangerous issue,’
He concludes by saying it is not about the game, but about staying alive.
