Lobi Stars striker Ademola Abdulkareem has backed his side to emerge as league winner if the Nigeria Professional Football league eventually return from the current break which was occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Abdulkareem speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comas discussions continue on when the league will return has decided to focus on what he believe his team can achieve after the resumption.
He added that it will be very bad to have a league winner emerge without having a proper end to the league season.
“I believe we can because we are in the top position and when we resume, we will buckle up and make amends on our mistake I strongly believe and that is why I don’t want them to end the league because I want to play and I want the league to end when we’ve played all games.
I just don’t want somebody to come and win the leagues when there are still games to be played.”
