Ademola Lookman Set To Play In Super Eagles Next Match

Ademola Lookman is considering representing his ancestral home, Nigeria after player for England at under-age levels, according to reports.

The ex-Everton star who joined Bundesliga outfit this summer RB Lipzeig, was approached by the Nigeria Football Federation.

According to Sky Sports, the former Everton striker who won the U20 World Cup with England in 2017 in South Korea is open to switching allegiance to Nigeria.

Lookman will now follow the footsteps of Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and Victor Moses who chose to represent the Super Eagles after featuring for England at youth level.

The 21-year-old spent part of his summer holiday in the West African nation and was left speechless by the reception he received from his Nigerian fans.

The NFF will need to get a clearance from FIFA before the winger officially becomes eligible to make his debut for the three-time African champions.

If the NFF is able to get the FIFA clearance on time, Lookman could don the Super Eagles jersey in her next match.
