Former Super Eagles forward Mutiu Adepoju has described Samuel Chukwueze as an exciting talent, following his performance for Villarreal in the Spanish premiere Liga over the weekend.
Chukwueze came on as a second-half substitute for Spanish forward Gerrard Moreno and made instant impact in Villarreal’s Li Liga game against Celta Vigo at the Estadio De Balaidos on Saturday.
The 21-year-old assisted the goal that handed Villarreal hard earn three points against the hosts, however, it was just his third assist of the season.
Adepoju who also caught his teeth in Spanish sides Real Sociedad and Salamanca has now praised the Super Eagles winger for the excellent performance.
Adepoju added that he hope to see Chukwueze add goals to his game.
“Great performance from Samuel Chukwueze against Celta Vigo at the Estadio de Balaidos. What an exciting player he is! I hope he keeps improving as well as work more on his goal scoring abilities.” he said in a social media post.
