Former Super Eagles player Mutiu Adepoju has stated that the preparation for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of this summer AFCON must not be taken lightly or tempted to underrate their group stage opponents.
Adepoju said in a chat with www.brila.net that the Super Eagles have nothing to worry about with the composition of the group that has Nigeria, Guinea, Madagascar, and Burundi and shouldn’t at the same time also underrate their opponents.
“We shouldn’t look at that, these kind of teams are the teams that cause upsets and we just have to prepare very well all the same. There is no reason to be worried but we must get the job done.”
