The current handler of the Nigeria U20 women national football team Moses Adukwu has stated that he is unperturbed by the postponement of the FIFA U20 women world cup.
Adukwu speaking in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid he is in touch with players of the U20 women national team to ensure they train physically to take care of fitness concerns.
He also added that any action taken by the world cup organizers will affect everyone and that Nigerian players for the U20 women team will not fail to adapt as quickly as possible when the team regroups.
“All things work together for good so therefore the postponement is also good for Nigeria. Well, I have been trying to reach out to the players even during the lockdown to advise them to be doing their personal training so that they will not just go down to zero levels. It affected every country so I’m not scared.”
