Enyimba goalkeeper Theophilus Affelokhai has urged the Nigerian football fans to support the team in prayers in their quest to bring back the African Cup of Nations title.
Afelokhai told www.brila.net that he does not understand why Nigerians think he should be in the camp ahead of some of the goalkeepers but is urging Nigerians to support the guys as they are ahead of him.
‘We have a lot of good goalkeepers in the country, thousands of them, I can’t say I’m better than any of them, I just want us to keep up with the prayers and support for them to do our Nation proud, ‘the Enyimba shot-stopper said.
‘If it’s the will of God for me to make it to the team, that will be my own time, the appointed time God wanted it, so, for now, those in the team deserves the country’s prayers to do well’ He concluded.
