President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Ibrahim Gusau has stated that the AFN is set to discover talented athletes ahead of the All comers national athletics championship slated for the Gateway International stadium Ijebu Ode Ogun state from the 5th to the 6th of April 2019.
Gusau said in a chat with www.brila.net that the Federation is putting a new database in place to identify and develop talented athletes who would have shown their talent and later be trained over a period of time up until the Olympic games next year in Tokyo Japan.
