D’Tigress player Aisha Mohammed has stated that the Nigeria women national team will make the most of the team’s current form after beating Cameroon 39 -106 at the ongoing FIBA Women Afrobasket in Senegal.
Aisha speaking in a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comsaid the big wins recorded by Nigeria has further shown the team’s resolve to beat all comers to defend the FIBA women Afrobasket title.
She further added that team chemistry and believe in one another he helped a lot because there is a very good level of understanding and telepathy in their game.
“We came here to defend our title and that’s what we are doing. We’re playing every game as if we are playing the final. And we girls trust ourselves, we believe in ourselves, and the chemistry is flowing.
We’re doing what we are supposed to do and by the special grace of God as we are taking the games one step at a time, we’re going to defend our title and that’s why we are here.” Aisha concluded.
