Veteran D’Tigress player Aisha Mohammed Balarebe has stated that she is sure Nigeria has what it take to mount a successful title defense as the team continues to prepare for the fast-approaching FIBA Afrobasket women championship which starts on the 9th of August 2019 in Senegal.
Aisha speaking in a chat with brila.net said the team have the confidence and the chance to win and would only require to play as a unit to make that work stressing that once this is achieved, all is sorted for them to compete and succeed.
“We have the chance, we’re going to compete like we always do and we have the confidence, we’re going for a win no matter what, all we have to do is to play as a team and by the grace of God, we will come out with the victory.”
