Akwa United targets League title at the Super six – Otobong

Akwa United skipper Otobong Effiong has stated that the Promise Keepers want to win the Nigeria Professional Football League title as the team intends to emerge with the highest points tally at the end of the Super Six tournament which kicks off tomorrow.

Otobong speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team have come so far and at this point understand very well that the Super six will determine who wins the league and who picks continental positions but for them, they intend to end with the league title at the end of the tourney in Lagos.
“It’s the Super six that determines everything you’re into the continental or the championship. What we are preparing for right now is for the Super six to gather and have the highest points at the end of the Super Six.”
