Nigerian winger Xavier Amaechi has joined German Bundesliga 2 outfit Hamburg FC in the current transfer window.
Amaechi who graduated from Arsenal’s famous academy opted against joining VfB Stuttgart in favour of a move to the former German champions.
Hamburg has reportedly promised the player opportunity to feature consistently in the current campaign, what Stuttgart could not be guaranteed because they are looking to bring more experienced players into the team, before the end of this current window.
Amaechi who was behind the likes of Alex Iwobi, Bukayo Saka, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Reiss Nelson at Arsenal is ready to make his professional debut for Hamburg next Monday when they visit to Nürnberg.
