Amunike’s Tanzania Surrender All Three Points To Kenya Despite Two Goal Lead

Michael Olunga scored a brace to help Kenya to their first win in the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Harambe stars twice came from behind to beat East African neighbours Tanzania 3-2 on Thursday and secured their second-ever win at the Africa Cup of Nations in the process.

Simon Msuva and Mbwana Samatta put The Taifa Stars in front but Olunga and Johanna Omolo levelled the scores, before Olunga fired in the winner nine minutes from time.

Burundi lost their first game 1 -0 to Senegal last Sunday are on the brink of elimination after suffering two defeats from two games played so far, while Kenya gave themselves hope of reaching the next round after the victory.

In other Group game, Algeria secured a 1-0 win over number one African ranked team Senegal.
