Former CHAN Eagles midfielder and current player of Norwegian side IK start, Afeez Aremu has revealed that he and his teammates are confident of gaining promotion to the top division from the Division 1 come the end of the season.
Start are getting set to battle Skeid FC this weekend, looking for their fourth straight win, and Aremu, speaking with www.brila.net, added that they are looking at getting all three points on Sunday to help their promotion course.
“Everything going according to plan, we had a meeting before the start of the season that we need to return to the top division and everything is going according to plan, we have not lost our last three matches, we had wins in them and we are very confident at the moment”.
We don’t have any other option but to win, especially when we play at home and so that is the mindset, the three points are non-negotiable and that’s what we will get on Sunday hopefully”.
Start are currently 4th on the log table with 16 points from 8 matches.
