Arsene Wenger Returns to EPL for Mourinho’s Job

Manchester United face Newcastle this evening in the Premier League which could prove to be the last game for the Special One and his former rival, Arsene Wenger ‘s, name has popped up as the best candidate to succeed the Portuguese at Old Trafford.

Mourinho is under pressure after a poor run of form and a public bust-up with Paul Pogba and the poor run of results in all competitions.

And now Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling thinks he has the perfect candidate to replace the Portuguese.

“First of all, Jose Mourinho is 1/7 on to be the next manager to be sacked,” he said on Soccer Saturday.

“Zinedine Zidane doesn’t speak English by the way, I don’t know how big a drawback that is, he’s favourite to come in.

“But I’ve got an idea and I know that this is going to be perfect and Manchester United fans will love me.

“What United want is Champions League qualification, year in year out. Great, attractive, attacking football. Someone who can get the best out of Alexis Sanchez, who’s not in a job at the moment.

“Arsene Wenger has got to be the next Manchester United manager!”

But Liverpool legend Phil Thompson is against the idea and believes Wenger is no longer good enough.

“We say Mourinho has lost his way, for the last couple of years we’ve said Arsene has lost his way and people have moved past him with his ideas,” Thompson said.
