Athletics – Nwana sets sights on improving SB 11.03secs in Ilaro

Ahead of race day in the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Junior Circuit in Ilaro, 100m medal hopeful Perpetua Nwana is confident her season’s best of 11.06 puts her in the medal zone.

 

The fastest time in the Under-20s so far this season stands at a constantly 11.03; in the girls’ event, and the sprinter told brila.net, as she aims to improve on her performance in the competition.

 

The circuit in Ilaro, Ogun State, which officially gets underway on 15 March, will also serve as a time trial for selection of Athletics for the African U18 Athletics championship.
