Assistant coach of Nigeria’s U17 national team Jolomi Atune has stated that Nigeria is familiar with what to expects from Guinea having also seen the Guinean team before the U17 AFCON at the invitational tour of Turkey and also seen all their games in Tanzania.
Atune speaking in a telephone chat with www.brila.net said the Nigeria U17 national team have done their homework already ahead of today’s semi-final clash between both sides and is optimistic of Nigeria winning and picking the final ticket at the expense of their rival.
“We have seen them, we have studied all the teams. We saw them in Antalya before and we have watched them again in the tournament here.
“We’ve mapped out a strategy and God’s willing we will get the necessary result to qualify for the final.”
NigeriaU17 take on Guinea U17 in the first of two semi-finals later today by 2 pm.
