Azubuike Okechukwu joins Instanbul Basekhir on loan

Another 2016 Rio Olympic Captain, Azubuike Okechukwu has joined the Egyptian Premier league side, Pyramid FC on a year loan spell, brila.net gathers.

Okechukwu had returned to Pyramid FC this summer after spending last season on loan with the Turkey Super Lig side, Caykur Rizespor.

The Egyptian side on Thursday loaned him to another Turkish side Istanbul Basekhir on a year deal.

The Former Bayelsa United midfielder played 12 matches for Rizespor last season and netted 5 goals.

The Former Under 17 and Bayelsa United midfielder is expected to team up with his new teammates on Friday for a pre-season tour.
