Rivers Hoopers Basketball club player Ikechukwu Benjamin has expressed his excitement ahead of the commencement of hostilities of the inaugural edition of the Africa Basketball league.
The league begins next month on the 13th of March 2020 for the Sahara and 20th March for the Nile Conference where Rivers Hoopers are housed.
Benjamin speaking in a chat with brila.net said preparations have commenced and that the whole team is excited about the opportunity of playing in the newly introduced NBA sponsored Africa Basketball league.
“Preparations are going well, we’ve been in camp for almost a month now and we’ve been practicsing morning and evening hoping to put up a good show at the inaugural edition of the Africa basketball league.
We have the opportunity to play at a good stage, have the opportunity to showcase our talent.”
