Chelsea have been handed a major blow in their pursuit of Argentina forward Gonzalo Higuain, as the Juventus star seems to have agreed on a move to AC Milan.
The Argentinian striker has been the subject of much transfer speculation this summer, with reports that he could link up with Sarri again after working together at Napoli.
According to respected Italian source Gianluca di Marzio, Juventus have struck a deal with rivals AC Milan over the transfer of the 30-year-old.
Chelsea remain interested in Higuain’s teammate Daniele Rugani as Sarri eyes more reinforcements.
