A one time Commissioner of Police, Delta State, Mr Adeyinka Adeleke Bode, has been redeployed as the new Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Command, Onikan ,Lagos (comprising Lagos and Ogun States commands).
AIG Bode has been asked to take charge of the Zonal Command with immediate effect from AIG Johnson Kokumo, who has been redeployed to Force Headquarters , Abuja, as Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) in charge of Research and Planning.
The changes become necessary as DIG David Folawiyo ,in charge of ICT officially retired from the service last week Friday.
Until this new deployment, AIG Bode, was the AIG in charge of the Nigeria Police Command, Zone 9, comprising Abia, Imo and Ebonyi States. He had earlier served as the Commissioner of Police in Delta and Kebbi states.
Bode is an Indegene of Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State. He is a graduate of Law from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ogun State. He also holds a degree in Education from the Lagos State University (LASU).
