Paderborn’s Jamilu Collins has revealed that it was a great feeling of joy and excitement after he helped his club gain promotion to the German Bundesliga from the Bundesliga II, even as he looks ahead to the new campaign in the German topflight.
Collins was part of the Super Eagles team that picked up bronze at the just concluded AFCON in Egypt, with his performances being very impressive down the left hand side of the defence.
Speaking with www.brila.net, Collins expressed his excitement ahead of the new campaign, while also revealing some key things that help him to play at the top level which he is currently playing.
It’s something every player wants to experience in his career, the joy and and excitement you feel, you cannot explain it.
Of course I was very excited and at the same time thankful to God. It is always great to play in the Bundesliga, one of the biggest league in the world so am very happy.
Discipline inside and outside the field is very important and it doesn’t matter if you’re skillful, strong, very talented or good. It’s all about following the coaches instruction and helping the team.
