The Confederation of African Football (Caf) will announce a new host for the 2019 African Cup of Nations after its executive committee‘s extraordinary meeting on 9 January 2019.
CAF is looking for a new host for tournament following the executive committee’s decision to strip Cameroon off the hosting rights due to security reasons and lack of progress with preparations.
Interested Countries, hereby have until on 14 December to table their official bids before CAF for the tournament.
reports has it that Morocco , South Africa and Congo-Brazzavilleare interested in hosting the tournament, but no one has come out with official declaration of interest to host the African biggest football showpiece.
