Chioma Wogu reveals the Bizzare reason for pursuing a career in football

Nigerian and FK Minsk player Wogu Chioma has revealed the bizarre reason for wanting and pushing for a career in the round leather game. 

Wogu features for Nigeria women’s national football team at the national level after making her debut appearance at the Africa Women Cup of Nations at age 17.
In a chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comChioma revealed a very unusual reason for opting for a career in football.
The player said she was carried away by the beautiful appearance of the former goalkeeper of the Super Falcons, Ann Chiejine on the very first time she met her.
“Her look, the elegance, and the car she drove that day got me thinking within myself and I decided I will do everything it takes to become a footballer,’ She told brila.net.
“I cannot forget that day, I saw her along with my uncle, She wore a white polo shirt and a black jean and white sneakers; looking really amazing,’ Chioma added in excitement.
“My uncle saw me staring and asked do I know who was that?, I said no, then he said to me this is a goalkeeper with the super falcons of Nigeria.

The former Rivers Angel player stated further that She was really the one that inspires her into playing football because when she saw her, she liked everything about her.
Wogu, who won the 2016 African Women’s Cup of Nations with Nigeria, was snapped up by Reva’s team as the second signing from Africa after South Africa’s Bambanani Mbane for their 2020 campaign.
