Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze has opened on his friendship with Victor Osimhen and described the Lille man as a joy to play with.
Both players have been together from their U-17 days and went on to represent the country at U-20, U-23 level before jumping the gun to the senior national team.
”Victor Osimhen, Five or six years now we have been together, from U17 to U20, U23, Super Eagles and we keep in touch always, and he’s doing perfectly good in his club.
”I think we have been so good, he’s just very lively to be with.”
Chukwueze is one of the most promising youngsters in the world of football and was nominated for the 2019 Golden Boy and Kopa Trophy.
The youngster says he’s trying to model his game to that retired Dutch winger Arjen Robben, who he called his idol.
”Arjen Robben. He is the perfect match, I always watch his video if I am going to play a game or when I am alone in the room, when I have free time I watch his game also,” said Chukwueze.
