Super Eagles and Levante of Spain winger Moses Simon has stated that the competition for places in the Super Eagles team at the AFCON is real and that alone is the basis to want to justify your inclusion into the team once called upon to play.
Simon who was the assist provider in Nigeria’s last 1-0 win over Guinea said in a chat with www.brila.net that there is a level of competition in the team and once you don’t live up to the billing, someone else is waiting in the wings to take your place.
“We all play in our clubs and we have a good relationship with each other and if you can see, everyone is fighting to play and that motivates the team because if you mess up, there is another one that can play.”
