President of the Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali is having doubts about the Tokyo 2020 Olympics holding this year amid the outbreak of the pandemic Coronavirus.
Igali told Cornerstonenewsng.comexclusively that, from every indication and some talks from the organizers in Japan, he believes there may be a delay in the commencement of the Olympics.
“The IOC is quite aware of the danger in the world today, even in Japan, they are quite of a number of cases that are dictated.
“I have no doubt the Olympics might continue weather it would be August that I can tell for now.
“Looking at every scenario so far the chances are very slim for the commencement this year,” he said.
Meanwhile, we have reported earlier that the organizers of the event have agreed to postpone the 2020 Olympics due to concerns about coronavirus.
