Super Falcons Coach Thomas Dennerby has stated that the Super Falcons have a long way to go in a bid to win the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
In a chat with brila.net Dennerby was quoted saying it is not an easy task to win the World Cup and it will still take some more time for the Nigerian women to clinch the title.
“I know it is a dream for every player and coaches to have a glimpse of the trophy in his or her hand but it does not come easy, You need that extra effort when it comes to performance,” Dennerby said.
The super Falcons only come close to winning the world cup in USA 1999 where the country had its best world cup performances by reaching to the quarter finals.
