Don’t Call me Goal King! Mfon Udoh declares new mission

Mfon Udoh set the NPFL alight with Enyimba in the 2013/14 season, noting a personal best and league record 23 goals that season, the feat has defined his career ever since, but the forward says he’s hungry to achieve bigger.

Currently, Udoh has notched 8 goals this season and leads the goal scorers board, as he looks to steer Akwa United to their first league title.
He told brila.net, ‘There certain things I like about football and setting that goal record was great, but football presents you with greater challenges.
‘So at this point, that achievement is dead and buried, I’m eagerly looking forward to doing something, bigger; create new history.’
