Eagles coach Rohr says no time to celebrate and welcomes VAR

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has stated that there is no time to celebrate Eagles victory over Cameroon because the attention now shifts to the next game on Wednesday against South Africa after the Bafana Bafana shocked host nation Egypt 1-0 to qualify for the quarter-final where they will face Nigeria.

Rohr speaking ahead of the quarterfinal game against South Africa which will also have the VAR introduced said the Eagles will analyze their opponent ahead of the tie and will also welcome the VAR hopefully to enhance the officiating of the game.
“We don’t have time to celebrate, we will analyse our opponent South Africa ahead of Wednesday tie and we also welcome the use of the VAR which hopefully will enhance the officiating at the AFCON especially now that we are at the crucial stage.”
