As the Super Eagles of Nigeria continue to countdown to the international friendly against Ukraine on the 10th of next month, former Super Eagles defender, Godwin Okpara has submitted that the team under coach Gernot Rohr are on the right track.
The Super Eagles will use the match to get set for the 2021 AFCON qualifier, as they look to make their mark on the continental scene after winning bronze at this year’s tournament in Egypt.
Speaking with brila.net, Okpara hailed the job done so far by the Franco-German, while also stating that he is happy with the continuity in the squad.
“We are on the right track and the coach is really doing well. We pray for them to continue this way and keep improving, continue with the way they are playing now. The coach knows what he is doing.
“They are really doing good now and I hope they continue that way”.
