Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has said that the team is battle ready to get a good result when they clash with South Africa’s Bafana Bafana tomorrow.
A draw for the Eagles currently leading the group will earn them a ticket with a match to spare.
The team lost their opening game to South Africa 2-0 in Uyo, but according to Troost- Ekong, the players now have a different mentality.
“This match is a new challenge for us, we are highly motivated even though it will be difficult playing away in South Africa,” Troost- Ekong said.
“There are now new players and they are hungry to make an impact.
“They are hungry to take this chance in the absence of other players and they can surprise South Africa because they want to show what they can do.”
